Front Line Assembly - Digital Tension Dementia

30 years ago this year (1988-2018), in November, Front Line Assembly released their first single Digital Tension Dementia. FLA was formed by Bill Leeb after touring with Skinny Puppy, under the alias Wilhelm Schroeder, in 1985. He created the Nerve War cassette and then became friends with Rhys Fulber whereupon they forged ahead with another cassette called Total Terror. Michael Balch worked with them, from 1987, for the The Initial Command and State Of Mind albums. They then had their big break joining Gary Levermore and his Third Mind record label in Europe. Levermore licensed FLA to Wax Trax! Records with the Corrosion and Disorder albums but the first big album was Gashed Senses And Crossfire - the Digital Tension Dementia and No Limit singles preceded its release…

For collector's there is the usual USA test pressing 12" and a very nice European 3" CD single to find. The USA CD single was reissued by Wax Trax! Records/TVT in 1992.
