Meat Beat Manifesto is the primary project of Jack Dangers that he started in 1987. Meat Beat Manifesto were initially signed to Wax Trax! Records in the USA and then to Play It Again Sam USA a label which Wax Trax! Records ran and distributed. For our first MBM #WaxTraxFriday feature we're profiling their first album Storm The Studio. It was originally released 29 years ago on 13th February 1989 in the UK, Germany/Europe and by Wax Trax! Records in the USA (2x12", cassette and CD) - collectors should look out for the Wax Trax! Records 2x12" test pressing, the German 2x12" promo set or the incredibly rare UK 2x12" promo set:

The Storm The Studio album has been reissued several times on CD in the USA by Wax Trax! Records/TVT (1993), Mute USA (1995) and Run Recordings (2003). Jack Dangers himself recently remastered it for digital releases:
