We've covered a lot of K.M.F.D.M.'s time at Wax Trax! Records over the last four weeks' articles (see links at the bottom of this page for previous articles). In that time K.M.F.D.M. released a lot of albums and a helluva lot of singles! Thankfully, Metropolis Records have released remastered editions of the albums in recent years and also in 2008 Metropolis put all those hard to find singles and rare tracks/remixes on to three double CD compilations: Extra Volume 1, Extra Volume 2 and Extra Volume 3. These compilations are now enjoying their 10th anniversary, this year in 2018, and they are also available digitally including in the lossless FLAC format.

Talking of compilations and series of releases, also ten years ago in 2008, K.M.F.D.M. celebrated their 24th anniversary by launching a two year series of releases under the banner 24/7 Anniversary. Roughly every month, K.M.F.D.M. would reissue one of their singles as a very limited edition 7" record until all 24 slots had been filled. Every single was sold via their own web site and if you got in early enough there were five copies of the official test pressing for that month's single available in a custom hand written sleeve! Finally, at the end of the series, they reissued their very first single Kickin' Ass again but this time on red vinyl with a replica red/black picture sleeve in a military canvas bag with extra goodies (the bag could hold all the reissue 7" singles).
