The 00s have seen a wild boar like climb for <PIG> culminating in this year's Masopust Risen album on Metropolis Records. It only just missed out on our 2018 Directives (CyberNoise's Best Of Year) so we're snorting and snuffling its praises right here and now, in our very last, special #WaxTraxFriday article of 2018!!! We won't stop celebrating #WaxTraxFriday in 2019, we're just going to be doing something different - see you in the New Year for that, because that's the way we like it…

And don't forget, there will be Hell To Pay in 2019 if you don't contribute something to charity by buying the latest single Black Mass - contribute here with all profits going to International Rescue Committee.

One final note. Collectors should pig out on the glorious vinyl pork scratchings of the Risen (Ultra Deluxe Edition) from Armalyte Industries.

<PIG>'s second album was Praise The Lard - initially only released in the UK on Concrete Productions. It was later reissued in 1997 by Cleopatra in the USA and Digital Uni in Japan.

Still in their Japanese only phase, <PIG> released Sinsation in 1995. However, a supporting tour with Nine Inch Nails saw the album reissued in 1995 in the USA on Trent Reznor's own Nothing label.

After a brief hiatus concentrating on family, Raymond returned full solo in 2004, under the moniker WATTS, striking a deal with newly formed Grand Recordings. Things quickly went teats up and marketing failed for the new album Pigmartyr. Raymond quickly skewered the release and slowly spit roasted it over an open fire serving it up with new friends Metropolis Records in 2005 as Pigmata.
